How we review parking information
Policy last reviewed: 30 August 2026.
Scope first
QuickAppeal currently supports council parking PCNs and private parking charges issued in England or Wales. England and Wales are recorded separately where national regulations differ. We do not reuse this material for Scotland, Northern Ireland, police fixed penalties, byelaw notices, moving-traffic notices or court pleadings.
Source hierarchy
- Legislation on legislation.gov.uk and official devolved legislation.
- GOV.UK, Welsh Government, official tribunals and UK Supreme Court material.
- Current official appeal-service and recognised industry-body material where relevant.
- Secondary commentary only for discovery, never as the sole authority for a legal claim.
The dated source set and current scope are published in the legal source library.
AI drafting controls
- A selected ground is treated as an allegation, not proof that a legal rule applies.
- Country, issuer type, notice sequence and stage gate country-specific citations.
- The model may use only URLs in the reviewed source set.
- Output is rejected if it contains an unapproved URL, specified outdated claim, country mismatch or legal reference without verification sources.
- Key customer identifiers are merged after the draft passes validation.
Claims and outcomes
We do not publish invented success rates, describe grounds as guaranteed or predict an individual appeal. Articles distinguish council penalties from private contractual charges, explain procedural stage and point readers back to the current notice. Product-usefulness feedback is not presented as proof of an appeal outcome.
Corrections
Laws, official guidance and industry processes can change. Send a page URL and supporting source to support@quickappeal.co.uk. We review material corrections and update the page date when the substance changes.
